Door removal and replacement. Remove the existing door. Remove all the trim and discard. Remove the door jam. Measure, mark, and cut out new opening for the wider replacement door.

Move all electrical wiring and switches to facilitate the installation of the new door.Install new studs and cripplers for the header support. Install header. Install pony studs. Install new door. The door will open into the bathroom. Install lever handle passage doorknobs with all the appropriate hardware.Install new casement molding to trim out the door. The door and trim were painted in white semi-gloss.
