Toilet Removal: Turn off the water source to the residence. Open up the outside water hose spicket to drain the water line system. Lay floor protection where the commode will be stored. Connect wet/dry vacuum cleaner. Vacuum out all the water from the toilet tank and bowl. Remove the toilet anchor bolts with a 3/8” drive ratchet and 7/16” deep socket. Disconnect the water supply line from the toilet. Remove the toilet and clean off the bottom outlet with the putty knife. Set toilet out of the way. Clean off the closet flange and discard the infected wax in a plastic bag.
Toilet Installation; Remove the toilet from the box. Ensure all hardware is present. Assemble the tank and bowl with the hardware provided. Install the new toilet seat to toilet bowl. Install toilet anchor bolts on the flange. Set the wax ring on the bottom of the toilet. Install the toilet over the flange. Fasten and cut toilet bolts to correct height. Install toilet anchor bolts caps. Reconnect the water supply line to the toilet. Open up water supply, examine, and test all connections. Insure proper operations of the fixture.
