The vertical handrail is for balance and the angled safety rail is provide additional leverage while sitting down and standing up. The additional safety accessories installed to make the bathtub completely safe for you are as follows. A caddy corner shelf with a built in grab bar, a combination fixed and hand held shower head with an independant hand shower adjustable solid bracket.
