Complete Bathroom with a Roll-in Shower.
The band and the decos were in a 6 " x 6".
Both deco bands and finishing edges were in 2" x 4" tumble travertine.
The floor tile was 2” x 2” tumble travertine, the color was Noce.
The accessories install were the shampoo caddies, soap dish, and towel bar.
Grout used on this project was Sandstone.
Both of the single handle faucets are in brushed nickel.
Final installation of the showerheads and faucet trimmings.
The two showerheads were installed( fixed and hand-held).
The locations of the grab bars were located in positions where the client could maneuver independently.
The ceiling and walls in the bathroom and closet were replaced, tape and floated, primed, and painted ( two coats).
The casement molding for both new doors were primed and painted to match the base molding.
The wall mounted mirror was replaced.
The countertop, vanity, and lavatory faucet were also replaced.
The bedroom carpet was replaced with 12" x 12' and 6" x 6" tile in a windmill pattern to make the room look bigger and modern. Additionally, with the floor being tiled made the wheelchair easier to maneuver within the bedroom and bathroom.
In this beautiful ezaccessible bathroom was created with the homeowner in mind. Many professional suggestions were made. Most were incorporated to accomplish these beautiful results.
The closet door was moved from inside the bathroom, which made it difficult to access, to the bedroom. You can see the new door to the left of the bathroom.
We removed the ceramic tiled tub enclosure and the backer board.
The steel baked on enamel bathtub was also removed.
The foundation was recessed to convert the bathtub drain to a shower drain line.
The shower faucet was removed along with all the plumbing.
The new plumbing was raised and the two new faucets were installed.
The walls were reinforced with 2 x 4s as needed.
The shower pan installation was next.
Reinforcements for the grab bars were installed.
Installation of the water and mold proof backer board was next.
Followed by tape and floating with thin set mortar and fiberglass tape.
The tile was then installed. The tile installed was 12" x 12 ” Montano matte glazed.
